Ally is a concierge coordination platform
Ally Home Services is a managed home-services platform. We help you describe what you need, review pricing, coordinate communication, and guide your project from first request to completion. Our job is to make the experience easier, clearer, and more accountable.
Some services may be performed by Ally-approved independent service providers rather than by Ally directly. When that is the case, Ally remains your point of coordination throughout the project.
What Ally coordinates
Depending on your project, Ally may handle:
- Intake of your service request and project details
- Review of quotes and pricing ranges
- Communication between you and the assigned provider
- Scheduling support
- Payment collection and release coordination
- Overall customer experience and issue resolution support
What independent service providers are responsible for
Independent service providers introduced through Ally are responsible for the work itself, including:
- The quality and workmanship of the services they perform
- Jobsite safety
- Applicable permits, inspections, and trade licenses
- Their own insurance coverage
- Their employees, helpers, subcontractors, and agents
- Their tools, equipment, and materials (unless otherwise stated)
- Compliance with applicable federal, state, county, and municipal laws
Verification has limits
Ally may verify insurance, credentials, reviews, and performance history for providers in our network. This review is designed to raise the bar on quality and accountability — but verification does not guarantee a specific project outcome, and no screening process can eliminate every risk.
Some work requires licensed professionals or permits
Certain services may require licensed professionals, permits, inspections, or municipal approval depending on the project type and your location. Where that applies, Ally may require that the work be handled only by appropriately licensed or insured providers. Ally should never be used to avoid a legal licensing or permitting requirement.
Keep your project on Ally
Please don't arrange side payments or off-platform work with providers you meet through Ally. Keeping project communication, scope changes, disputes, and payment inside Ally's platform or approved channels is what allows us to support you if something needs attention — and it protects the records that back you up.
Why this matters
Ally's role is to make the process easier, clearer, and more accountable — not to leave homeowners guessing. You always know who is coordinating your project and where to turn when you have a question.
